Lindsey Pryor, MA, CCC-SLP
Lindsey has been a speech therapist in the Charlotte area for 13 years. She graduated from Appalachian State with her bachelors in Communication Disorders and continued there for her Masters Degree in Communication Science and Disorders. Lindsey has worked in a variety of settings including home health, elementary school, middle school, high school, and in a clinic setting. Lindsey is a member of ASHA, The American Speech and Hearing Association and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence. Lindsey enjoys working with many different types of children and speech disorders, but she is most passionate about working with children with Autism and targeting early language skills for toddlers and preschool aged children. Lindsey uses a natural and play based style of therapy which is child led and enjoys teaching parents how to carry over therapy style activities in their home. Lindsey believes in building a connection and relationships with her clients and their families. She feels that partnering with families is essential for therapy to be successful. Her philosophy is that language learning can happen with any activity if you make it fun and engaging for children. Lindsey has a wonderful husband and two amazing children as well as two cats and a dog. In her free time Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, creating, and collecting gnomes.
