Kimberly Parks, PTA
Kim, has worked with children for over 20 years through physical therapy and her previous carrier as a professional ballet dancer and dance teacher. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University then graduated from CPCC as a physical therapist’s assistant, magna cum laude with a perfect score on her board exam.
Kim has worked for Handprints and Footsteps since 2013. She has experience treating children with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, spinal muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophy, autism, torticollis, hypotonia, hypertonia, orthopedic conditions, premature birth and various other neurological and genetic disorders. Kim loves the opportunity to help each child become their personal best. Kim provides therapy in the natural environment in and around the Huntersville, NC area as well as in the clinic setting.
In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, and continues to perform as a professional modern dancer.
