Danielle Magurno, MS, CCC-SLP
Danielle Magurno is an ASHA certified speech language pathologist, who is licensed in the states of NC, SC, NY, and FL. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Minor in Linguistics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the Teachers College, Columbia University. She also continued her education and received a Masters in Special Education and Certification in Assistive Technology from Bowling Green State University.
Danielle has experience working with children and families across a variety of settings, including pre-school classes, public schools, special education programs, in-home and clinic settings, private practice, and outpatient rehabilitation centers. She has treated individuals with receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonological disorders, motor speech and motor planning disorders, dysfluency or stuttering, pragmatic language delays, and diagnoses of Autism, Intellectual Disability, Multiple Disabilities, and Hearing Impairment. She has an interest working with children with articulation and phonological disorders as well as Apraxia of Speech, and is trained in PROMPT as well as DTTC which is implemented into therapy. She is also very passionate about facilitating functional communication and expanding language use for others through all modalities, including spoken language and augmentative and alternative communication methods. Danielle is eager to work closely with the client and their family to develop a collaborative relationship and support all progress made.
Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her two children, husband, and dog. She also likes to explore all that Charlotte has to offer with her family and friends.
