Ms. Alayna, OTR/L

Alayna is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist who uses play-based therapy to help children build the skills they need to thrive in everyday life. She believes that play is not just fun—it’s one of the most powerful ways kids learn, grow, and connect.

She enjoys working with children of all abilities and focuses on supporting development in areas such as fine motor skills, emotional regulation, sensory processing, and sensory-based feeding. Her sessions are designed to be engaging, joyful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Alayna is a neurodiversity-affirming therapist who values each child’s individuality and creates a safe, respectful space where kids feel seen, heard, and supported.

Alayna earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Health with a minor in Disability Studies, followed by a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, both from West Virginia University. Her background gives her a strong foundation in understanding the whole child—physically, emotionally, and developmentally.

Whether working on handwriting, feeding challenges, or emotional coping strategies Alayna  is passionate about helping children grow with confidence while supporting families every step of the way.
